Empowering positive change through person-centred supports.

At Advanced Behaviour, we provide high-quality, person-centred disability and behaviour support services that empower individuals, build capacity, and enhance quality of life. Our multidisciplinary team delivers practical, evidence-based supports tailored to each participant’s unique goals, strengths, and support needs

Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)

At Advanced Behaviour, we are committed to improving quality of life by understanding behaviour and providing practical, person-centred support. We work closely with participants, families, carers, and support teams to create meaningful strategies that build independence, improve well-being, and achieve lasting positive outcomes.

Our team conducts comprehensive behavioural assessments using evidence-based and functional approaches to better understand the reasons behind behaviours of concern. We develop personalised, trauma-informed Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) tailored to each participant’s individual needs, goals, and environment. We also complete Restrictive Practice assessments and reports in line with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements.

Using Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) principles, we focus on creating ethical, safe, and practical strategies that support skill development, communication, and participation in everyday life. We provide ongoing implementation support, training, coaching, and monitoring to ensure strategies are effective and sustainable across home, school, workplace, and community settings.

Our experienced PBS practitioners take a strengths-based and holistic approach, providing clear guidance and collaborative support to everyone involved in a participant’s care.

Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA)

At Advanced Behaviour, our Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs) provide a comprehensive understanding of a participant’s strengths, challenges, and support needs. We deliver high-quality, evidence-based assessments that help inform NDIS funding decisions and support planning, while ensuring each participant feels heard, respected, and supported throughout the process.

Our assessments explore areas including daily living skills, cognitive functioning, communication, social and emotional development, physical capacity, mobility, and environmental factors that may impact independence and participation. We take a practical, real-world approach to understanding how participants function across different settings and what supports may assist them to achieve their goals.

Following the assessment, participants receive a detailed and professionally written report outlining current functional capacity, identified support needs, and clear recommendations for services, supports, assistive technology, and skill development opportunities. All recommendations are aligned with NDIS expectations and designed to support meaningful outcomes and improved quality of life.

Our team is committed to producing accurate, thorough, and person-centred reports that provide clarity, guidance, and genuine value for participants, families, and support coordinators.

Therapy Services

At Advanced Behaviour, our Therapy Services are designed to support individuals of all ages to build functional skills, strengthen independence, improve communication, and increase participation in everyday life. We use evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each participant’s individual goals, strengths, and developmental needs.

Our team provides behavioural therapy, skill development programs, and flexible service delivery options, including home, community, and telehealth supports. We work with participants to develop practical skills that improve confidence, daily functioning, and overall quality of life.

We offer assessment and intervention across a range of areas, including communication, emotional regulation, sensory needs, motor skills, cognitive development, and daily living skills. Each participant receives a personalised therapy program with clear, achievable goals that are meaningful and relevant to their everyday environment.

We also provide coaching and training for families, carers, and support workers to ensure strategies can be consistently implemented across different settings. Our therapists work collaboratively with support coordinators, educators, medical professionals, and behaviour practitioners to provide integrated and coordinated support.

We believe therapy should be engaging, practical, and outcome-focused, with a strong emphasis on helping participants achieve greater independence and meaningful participation in their daily lives.

Support coordination

At Advanced Behaviour, our Support Coordination Services are designed to help NDIS participants understand, implement, and maximise their NDIS plans. We support individuals of all ages to build capacity, strengthen independence, connect with the right supports, and achieve meaningful outcomes aligned with their personal goals.

Our team assists participants with coordinating and implementing NDIS supports and services, navigating plan funding, and accessing community, mainstream, and specialist services. We also provide support during times of transition, increased complexity, or significant change, ensuring participants feel supported and confident throughout the process.

We work closely with participants to identify goals, build effective support networks, and coordinate service providers that best meet their individual needs. Our coordinators monitor supports to ensure they remain effective, practical, and aligned with participant outcomes, while also assisting with plan reviews, reports, and service agreements.

At Advanced Behaviour, we take a person-centred and strengths-based approach to Support Coordination. We focus on empowering participants to make informed choices, develop confidence, and build the skills needed to manage their supports independently over time. We also work collaboratively with families, carers, therapists, educators, behaviour practitioners, and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated and consistent support across all areas of a participant’s life.

Continence ASsessments

At Advanced Behaviour, our Continence Assessment Services are designed to support individuals experiencing bladder and bowel concerns by identifying functional needs, improving comfort and dignity, and enhancing independence and quality of life. We provide person-centred assessments and practical recommendations tailored to each participant’s health needs, lifestyle, goals, and support environment.

Our team conducts comprehensive continence assessments for both children and adults, exploring toileting routines, functional abilities, mobility, and environmental factors that may impact continence management. We provide recommendations for continence products, aids, equipment, and strategies that support daily functioning, safety, hygiene, and dignity of care.

We also assist participants and families with NDIS documentation, reports, and funding recommendations to ensure appropriate supports can be accessed. Our approach focuses on developing realistic and sustainable continence management strategies that promote comfort, participation, and greater independence in everyday life.

At Advanced Behaviour, we believe continence support should be respectful, practical, and collaborative. We work closely with participants, families, carers, medical professionals, allied health teams, and support coordinators to ensure recommendations are effective, person-centred, and aligned with each participant’s individual goals and needs.

Core supports

At Advanced Behaviour, our Core Support Services are designed to help NDIS participants live safe, meaningful, and independent lives through high-quality, person-centred support. We combine practical daily assistance with evidence-based behavioural approaches to help individuals build confidence, develop life skills, strengthen community participation, and improve overall wellbeing.

We understand that quality support is about more than completing daily tasks — it is about empowering participants to achieve their goals, increase independence, and enjoy meaningful experiences in everyday life. Our services are tailored to each participant’s strengths, preferences, routines, and support needs, ensuring supports are practical, engaging, and aligned with individual goals.

Our team provides a range of supports including daily living assistance, community participation, Short-Term Accommodation (STA) and respite, School Holiday Programs, social engagement activities, skill development programs, and behaviour support implementation in everyday settings. Services are delivered across home, community, and group-based environments to provide flexibility and meaningful opportunities for growth and participation.

We support participants with developing daily living skills, communication, emotional regulation, social interaction, and independence while encouraging safe and meaningful participation in recreational, educational, and community activities. Our team also implements Positive Behaviour Support strategies under the guidance of qualified Behaviour Support Practitioners to ensure consistent, supportive, and safe care across all settings.

At Advanced Behaviour, our approach is grounded in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), trauma-informed care, and person-centred practice. We focus on creating safe, inclusive, and empowering environments where participants feel respected, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. Our experienced support workers receive ongoing training in behaviour support, emotional regulation, disability support, and safe practice to ensure high-quality and consistent service delivery.

We work closely with families, carers, therapists, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to provide coordinated and effective support that promotes long-term capacity building, meaningful outcomes, and improved quality of life for participants of all ages.
